Burkhard Augustine Hase

A Berlin-based magician was in need of a new poster, postcard and website to promote his show that focused on close-up magic. He performs magic tricks just inches away from the viewers' eyes. The wonderful luck is that his last name Hase actually means hare, as in the rabbit. So I designed an alter-ego rabbit that plays with scale in combination with the headline that translates to "The Desire of Deception", since his entire show plays with visual trickery. We then created a wooden cut-out of the rabbit that was used with a projector to cast a shadow of the rabbit around the theatre.
